WFUNA (World Federation of United Nations Associations) operates across dozens of member countries, runs UN-affiliated programs like WIMUN (WFUNA International Model UN), and manages relationships across governments, civil society, and diplomatic missions. That’s a relationship graph too complex for spreadsheets. Madison Ave built the Salesforce foundation.
What We Built
- Contact and organization architecture. Structured the contact model to handle the WFUNA-specific reality: delegates, diplomats, member associations, program alumni, and cross-affiliations.
- WIMUN program management. Built the WIMUN flagship program inside Salesforce, including participant upload, program tracking, and reporting.
- User setup and onboarding. Configured users and permissions across the WFUNA team so the platform was usable on day one.
Why It Worked
Nonprofit Salesforce work has a temptation to install NPSP (Nonprofit Success Pack) and call it done. WFUNA’s relationship complexity needed more than that. Madison Ave took the time to map the actual relationship graph before configuring anything, which is why the platform still fits even as the programs have grown.
