Sprinklr managed its global contracting process using a combination of email, shared drives, Slack, and paperwork. The fragmented toolset made it extremely difficult to execute contract creation, negotiation, and signature across business units worldwide. The Legal team couldn’t report on the process, and Sales and Customer Success organizations lacked the real-time insight they needed to scale.
The Challenge
Global enterprise contracting, run on tools that weren’t built for it. Approvals stalled in email threads. Redlines lived in attachments nobody could find. Legal couldn’t produce a clean report on what was in flight, let alone where the bottlenecks were. The faster Sprinklr grew, the more the manual process slowed them down.
The Solution
Madison Ave Consulting worked alongside Sprinklr business sponsors and subject matter experts to implement a solution that combined custom Salesforce functionality with Conga’s Contract Lifecycle Management. Collaborating with Conga professional services, we delivered automation and insight across Sprinklr’s contracting process.
The CLM process focused on the negotiation of MSA, NDA, and LOF contracts. We leveraged Conga’s clause management library, robust redlining capabilities, and the power of the Salesforce platform to help Sprinklr tame the diverse contract agreements prevalent in the AdTech space. The custom solution ensured only the latest version of the contract was communicated to the customer while maintaining version history for approved user profiles.
We took the core tenets of the Salesforce approval process and developed a custom parallel approval workflow spanning six approvers, reducing the time a contract spent in the approval stage. The design provided visibility across business units, highlighting the stage of every approval, associated comments, and the owner responsible for next steps.
The Outcome
Real-time enterprise visibility to 300+ users worldwide, spanning sales, deal desk, marketing, HR, security, and products. Approval cycles tightened. Contract versions stopped diverging. Legal got the reporting they’d been asking for.
